Judging from the literal singing and dancing in the streets, Angelenos are in a good mood following the news that Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump after a long and contentious race for the White House. Even as Trump and Republican lawmakers nationwide refuse to concede the race, it’s no surprise Los Angeles turned out for Biden as this electoral map from the L.A. Times showed consistent support for the Democratic candidate.

Photographers Jintak Han and Afonso Salcedo joined the crowds to document the jubilation that’s taken over Los Angeles.
