Organizer's other eventsNow, what could be better than spending a late spring evening sprawled out on the grass surrounded by friends — or more intimately loved ones if you have them — as the opening credits to a Hollywood classic materialize on a massive movie screen in front of you while food trucks stationed nearby tempt you and fellow cinephiles with birria tacos, fried chicken and philly cheesesteaks?
The answer: not a lot.
So head over to Poinsettia Park this Saturday for a screening of “Sunset Boulevard,” a dark comedy and “the greatest movie about Hollywood,” hosted by Street Food Cinema. The screening also includes a performance by Olivia Morreale, whose sound is inspired by synth-pop, chillwave, jazz and soul. Cerda Vega Tacos, Heritage Kitchen and Philly Jay’s food trucks will also be present, closing out the dinner and a movie experience.
Tickets: General Admission $19. Children General Admission (Ages 6-12) $10. Reserved Section $25. Reserved Section Children (Ages 6-12) $15. Children ages 5 and under are FREE.
