Given L.A. County’s surging COVID-19 case rate and how adept I’ve become at baking muffins and cooking casseroles, I will 100% be cooking at home this Thanksgiving, just like nearly every day since March.

But let’s say you’d rather have someone else cook you a nice turkey dinner or maybe even whip up a unique spin on some Thanksgiving classics. In that case, check out these local restaurants offering outdoor dining and prepared meals you can bake at home, as well as pickup and delivery options. Several of our selections also offer multiple plates for larger families, or — while abiding by the public health department’s robust holiday pandemic guidelines — if you want to gather outside with one or two other households for no more than two hours while remaining 6 feet apart and wearing masks.
