Nathaniel Thompson launched the comprehensive film review site, Mondo Digital, in 1998 and has written four books about cult and international cinema (with a fifth on the way). For 15 years he has been a regular contributing writer for Turner Classic Movies and he was a weekly contributor to FilmStruck during its run from 2016 to 2018.
For the past decade, he has written regularly for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and worked as a DVD and Blu-ray producer for 10 years with Image Entertainment. He also worked for DreamWorks SKG soon after its founding and has appeared on over 150 audio commentaries to date. You can also see him in front of the camera in such documentaries as "King Cohen, "It Was a Colossal Teenage Movie Machine: The American International Pictures Story" and "1982: One Amazing Summer!"
